  • Overview

    The Document Control Coordinator is responsible for logging, maintaining, and filing Project Documentation in accordance with Primoris Willbros Canada Quality Assurance Program, contractual requirements, and regulatory requirements/ obligations. Further the Document Control Coordinator is responsible for supporting project management and construction personnel on administrative matters as they apply to necessary documentation

     

    Start Date: Subject to project award

    Shift : Subject to project award.

     

     

    ** Locals to Fort McMurray are preferred**

     

    Responsibilities

    • Clerical functions with respect to document control activities.
    • In accordance with the Company Quality Assurance Program, contractual requirements and regulatory requirements/obligations:
      • Logging in (receiving) and distribution of all customer issued controlled contract documents,
      • Logging in (receiving) and distributing all supplies information, specifications, drawings certifications, and supporting documentation.
      • Maintaining the project database for internally generated drawings, records, results, certifications, and contractually required documentation.
      • Manage the flow of records to and from all appropriate parties
    • Maintaining the database for the submission of all contractual related documentation to customers, vendors, and regulatory authorities in accordance with the Company’s Quality Assurance Program.
    • Facilitating in the preparation of bid documents.
    • Provide routine Quality checks and audits on all out going documentation in accordance with established Willbros and client requirements and guidelines.
    • Effective and timely archiving of all project records

    Responsible to lead the document control process for all applicable documents into Share Point.

    Qualifications

    • 3 years experience in computerized and manual document control management in an Oil/Gas related industry.
    • Knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Access database and Share Point.
    • Thorough knowledge of project documentation and engineering terminology.
    • Must have strong analytical and organizational skills
    • Self Starter and be able to work independently as well as a team.
